Greenlight Community Broadband
NETWORK TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT
In accordance with FCC regulations applicable to all providers of broadband Internet access service (47 CFR § 8.1(a)), Greenlight Community Broadband provides the following information concerning its network management practices, the service’s performance characteristics, and commercial terms. 1. Network Management Practices
- Blocking. Greenlight Community Broadband does not undertake any practice, other than reasonable network management elsewhere disclosed, that blocks or otherwise prevents end user access to lawful content, applications, service, or non-harmful devices.
- Throttling. Greenlight Community Broadband does not degrade or impair access to lawful Internet traffic on the basis of content, application, service, user, or use of a non-harmful device.
- Affiliated Prioritization. Greenlight Community Broadband does not directly or indirectly favor some traffic over other traffic, including through use of techniques such as traffic shaping, prioritization, or resource reservation, to benefit an affiliate, including identification of the affiliate.
- Paid Prioritization. Greenlight Community Broadband does not directly or indirectly favor some traffic over other traffic, including through use of techniques such as traffic shaping, prioritization, or resource reservation, in exchange for consideration, monetary or otherwise.
- Congestion Management. Greenlight does not implement any type of congestion management practices. Greenlight Community Broadband does monitor its network traffic to ensure reliable internet access. Greenlight Community Broadband will add additional carrier provider bandwidth to relieve congestion when necessary.
- Application-Specific Behavior. Greenlight Community Broadband does not block or rate-control specific protocols or protocol ports, or otherwise inhibit or favor certain classes or applications.
- Device Attachment Rules. Greenlight Community Broadband does require a Greenlight provided CPE device. Greenlight does not impose any restrictions on the types of devices connected to the CPE device.
- Security. Greenlight Community Broadband uses various tools and methods to ensure reliability and availability to its customers. Greenlight Community Broadband offers end-user equipment to help protect against viruses, malware and malicious websites on customer’s home network.

- Impact of Non-Broadband Internet Access Service Data Services. Greenlight Community Broadband offers a variety of Metronet and Dark Fiber options. All non-broadband internet access services are on segregated networks and do not have any impact on broadband access performance.
